All specializing in certain areas and pioneering in their mediums of service, these sworn professionals set standards not only in our state but across the country for practices in public safety.
El Reno Police Department
The ERPD enforces laws within the City of El Reno, serving all 2.1 Million citizens. It is the mission of the ERPD to safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve. Known for advancing training procedures and their well-known navy and white cars, serving in the ERPD comes with pride from all its sworn officers.
Mercer – El Reno Fire Department
The MRFD is part of a joint agreement between Mercer County and El Reno City to provide wide reaching, top notch fire and medical services to citizens across the city and county. Members of the MRFD span across several stations, staffing both North and South regions of Mercer County.
Common Attributes
The El Reno Area Peace Officer Association and New Malverne State Fire Association regulate the standards of all law enforcement officers, firefighters and paramedics in the state. Both groups ensure that across all agencies serving the public, there is a standard of quality for both the first responder and the public.
